Service and Quality Manager – Europe

Cordoba Music Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles, basses and musical instrument accessories.  Some of CMG’s brands include Cordoba Guitars®, Guild Guitars®, DeArmond® and HumiCase®, which are internationally distributed and played by a wide range of musicians.  Cordoba is the largest supplier of nylon string guitars and ukuleles in U.S. retail chains, online retailers, and independent dealers across the USA. Guild is an iconic brand of acoustic and electric instruments with roots going back to the early 50’s. Other CMG brands include Savarez®, and Aquila®, of which CMG is the largest importer and U.S. distributor.  The company’s corporate headquarters are located in Santa Monica, CA, and distribution and manufacturing facility is in Oxnard, CA.

The Service and Quality Manager will be responsible for the success of our products warehoused in Moerdijk for our dealers and distributors throughout Europe.  The Manager will have a customer-focused mindset, be self-motivated, have a great work ethic and an eye for detail.


  • Perform efficient and thorough inspection, setup and repairs for guitars, ukuleles, and basses warehoused in Holland – inbound, stock and outbound, as appropriate
  • Handle all service and product support calls and emails from dealers and distributors and sales team
  • Vet and process warranty claims and replacement parts for dealers and distributors
  • Support the movement of products physically and virtually with third party logistics partners
  • Process transfers, credit notes and replacement orders within ERP system
  • Communicate with global Quality team leaders


  • Team oriented, professional, eager to learn and willing to go the extra mile to achieve the best result
  • Passionate about music, specifically guitars of all shapes and sizes
  • Experience playing and inspection/repair of stringed instruments
  • Possess a sense of urgency that comes with a growing business and be able to switch gears quickly
  • Required languages: English, Dutch, German (a plus if able to speak/write more languages than these 3)
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Exceptional prioritization, multi-tasking, follow up and time management skills
  • Excellent and friendly communication skills, written and verbal
  • Comfortable with use of computers, ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), web
  • Comfortable with heavy emails and phone
  • No recurring travel required (other than possible annual trip to California to meet with US team)
